Weekly Report CW3

After the last report on December 17, I took some days off and started working again on January 10. This break was important for me to step back from all the projects so that I can set better goals for this year. One of the changes is that I move Friday Reports to Monday. The reason for that is that I’m working Thursdays and Fridays full-time on a big corporate to help build a motion design department. I started there on 1st November and I knew that I perform better when I split the week. From Monday to Wednesday, I focus on my customers and partners and I moved NFTs and other side projects to weekends only. They are now optional and only if I want to achieve more. There are further optimizations I’m testing right now. By the end of this year, most of this achieving more techniques will be available to everyone.

OnVentures every Monday

We had a kick-off last Monday to meet weekly for OnVentures. Our goal is to map out businesses theoretically that are ready to start up. We bring hundreds of ideas on paper and map out around twelve businesses per year. It’s a booklet of promising assets in theory. Whenever one of us wants to start a venture as a side project, the plans are ready. Alessia Wiss is my partner in crime, and we are going to grow this group slowly. We are both on the same page, that commitment and consistency are essential for OnVentures. Whoever is joining, has to fully commit to being there every week. I’m very excited about this—a group of collective intelligence is something I always dreamed about and now we are building one.

New Track Sheets

This quarter, I’m using four track sheets. One for delegation, two for my health, and one to go up early. I heard about apps to track progress. But I don’t want to get lost in my phone. I want to see it next to my computer screen so that they watch me every single day. It works like a charm for me. Probably I’m going to make them available on

What do you accomplish this week?

During the Monday reports, I set pro-active weekly tasks with the question “What do you accomplish this week?” — Then on the next report, I go and ask myself: “What did you accomplish last week?”.

It doesn’t matter how many tasks you set at the beginning of the week. They should be realistic and bound to the quarterly OKRs. I hat 13 pro-active tasks last week and I achieved 10 of them. It doesn’t matter if during the week things change, other tasks come in. This will naturally happen. But it helps to focus on the things that matter most to you in the bigger picture.

With 13 pro-active tasks and 10 accomplished, I scored 10/13—0.77.

The Five Monday Questions (CW3)

I start every week with a report and five questions, as we implemented it at OnSaPa GmbH to keep a consistent feedback relation.

What was good?

  • Going up at 5 am the whole week was easy
  • Happy with my new OKRs and systems to achieve more
  • The OnVentures kick-off last Monday with Alessia Wiss was great
  • Used the weekend for an NFT collab and the artwork is almost done
  • Received three favorite book titles from a CEO I asked for it
  • My ACT partner has a lot of art sessions in January
  • Great progress on yearly meeting with WOP
  • I made an appointment for this week with an entrepreneur I appreciate
  • I stretched every day for 15 minutes (a quarterly goal)
  • I stuck to “No sugar drinks, no Crisps” from Sunday to Thursday (a quarterly goal)
  • I use a trigger mechanism to delegate rather than take others' work on me.
  • Achieved 0.77 of weekly pro-active tasks.
  • Meeting with two founders to create a unique motion presentation

What to look at in the future?

  • Keep an eye to fulfill 100% of the work hours for the fixed costs

What was shitty?

  • Nothing.

What should stay as it is?

  • The time management and systems to achieve more

  • Organize files
