People start bidding for my 500 Everydays artwork, and I reject it, even if I could really use the money right now. I anticipated dropping this on June 30th at 12PM PST on MakersPlace as an auction, but then I changed my mind.
A friend appreciates this artwork so much that he made himself ready for a bidding war on June 30. But something didn’t feel right to me, and through a conversation with a stranger, I realized that I don’t want to make my friend bid against people who don’t care at all. So I decided to send him the original single version in 14K resolution as a gift.

20 editions of the Version in 2K
Next to the original artwork in 14K, I minted 20 editions of a 2K version. I created this whole stuff for this reason:
To inspire blocked creatives to finish and publish their work every day.
I sent the first edition to Beeple, who started 13 years ago this whole Everydays journey. And I’m going to send the other editions to people and collectors who want to spread the word.
For me, doing Everydays was the way to overcome creative block, and I think people who do Everydays should become ambassadors to help blocked creatives to get unblocked. This is an endless journey and always dynamically changing over time. People doing Everydays grow and find their limits. They don’t overpromise and underdeliver. And the best side effect: Relationships get better. It’s overall a way to achieve more. Beautiful.
I really hope Beeple sees the point, that he is in a gatekeeping function: Artists currently fear to show a collage of their progress, or even to start with Everydays, because they will never follow up to him. His masterpiece, The First 5000 Days, sold as a non-fungible token (jpg) on February 16, 2021, made big waves around the globe. Artists fear copying him or not being original. But that misses the point of Everydays. They are a great way of creating art and making us grow over time.
Friends told me I should not publish it at all. It will backfire and work against me. I think this competitive ego and closed mindset is exactly what prevents us from growing together.
The 2nd quarter comes to an end.
In this quarter, a lot of things happened. I’m going to analyze all the reports next week to measure the OKRs and set new ones for Q3. I’m confident to finally put OnSaPa’s offering into a website and work with more clients. So that I can shift from freelance and design to my new career path of coaching ambitious people to help them achieve more. My biggest pain point is still the low revenues and lack of freelance jobs to keep my startup going. It’s almost not enough to pay the rent, which leads to distracted focus. Starting up without funding and savings is not a great idea, especially not when a pandemic shits in. But as this pandemic starts changing positively, I’m confident that I’m going to make it. I’m especially confident in one of the new partnerships, where we will launch a product soon. And I’m confident about the products OnSaPa is offering in Q3. They are easy to understand and bring great value to clients. I can say that because more and more people are looking for our services. What I have to do, is to close new deals in Q3. I can also see a positive change in OnSaPa’s first partnership. We redesigned and clarified his life and matched his company to it. New orders come in, and he went into a positive cash flow after opening his studio again. My job is now to check in weekly and keep up the momentum. So the biggest part is done on this client (~10 months), and he is moving forward with confidence.
But the journey never ends.
It’s important to understand that satisfaction doesn't come from achieving short-term gratifications. We’d stay in an endless hunt for the next buzz. It’s much more about being aligned with a greater cause or belief and contributing to it. This makes it okay if we don’t achieve a short-term goal because we keep playing for the sake of playing. I believe that I’m naturally good at helping people achieve more. For a few weeks, I’m asking myself how I can make the best use of that and quit things that nobody helps. The journey of growing and getting better never ends, and for me, it’s pure joy to see people succeed in joining this journey. So how can I help more people making long-lasting and positive changes? I’ll roll out my contribution for that with OnSaPa’s offering next quarter.

What was good?
- New network and positive feedback for our association (to get locations)
- Good conversation with a stranger for my 500 artworks NFT
- Sold 1/3 editions of the FUCK artwork for 0.333 ETH (profit ~600$)
- New revenues/orders incoming for my Action Painting partner
- Finally planned vacations with Alessia by the beginning of July (4.—18.)
- I finished reading a book and started the next one

- Sent my 500 artworks as a gift to Swizzy (he loves this piece so much).
- Sent my 500 artworks to Beeple because he started this journey.
- Minted the first boring creature on Foundation (NFT).
What to look at in the future?
